For the past 8 weeks, my life has primarily revolved around one major life event - the Ladies 1st DJ Program. Our class of 15 women, self-dubbed the “New Wave,” is getting ready for our graduation this Wednesday at @caminobrewingcompany .

It’s been a really amazing ride.
🤓🎧 I learned how to DJ through our talented professors @charl3y_beats @djyoucantstopmike & @cutso

👯‍♀️ I met these amazing ladies, got to develop some really great, supportive friendships, and got to nestle my roots deeper into the community.

🎨 On top of all that, I also got to combine my other creative hobbies all together, creating some flyer designs with photos from @steezc and + video content with @ladies1stdjclub_bayarea

♥️ Now more than ever, I feel like I’m pursuing the things that matter to me and that nurture my creative soul. Doing so in such an amazing community is a blessing, and it’s amazing to let it come to light with 15 female DJs during Women’s History Month. We are all a group of women united by our desire to learn a skill and follow our own path, and we went out and did it!

🌹 No one summed it up better than our DJ mom, @charl3y_beats ❤️‍🔥

🎶 Check out our celebration and showcase at our DJ graduation this Wednesday from 5 to 9:15 featuring @snookies__cookies @cajetasbayarea and @rainbowbakedgoods

🕖 I’ll be on at 7:45 PM! The debut of Zaynub.mp3 ✨
