This weekend, the sorors of Sigma Gamma Rho at Prairie View A&M University had the privilege of honoring their beloved soror Sandra Bland who was a member of their chapter.

Their chapter came together to celebrate her memory, learn more about her legacy, and give back with a teddy bear drive and memorial cleanup. 

“We will always speak her name and share her story,” they stated.
