MrBeast is always pushing limits, and now he wants to break Shaquille O’Neal’s legendary $70,000 Walmart shopping spree record. On The Big Podcast with Shaq, he revealed his plan to buy everything in a Walmart, estimating a bill of around $7 million, with plans to donate it all to charity.

Shaq’s Walmart spree is the stuff of legends. When he moved to Phoenix, he found his apartment empty and hit Walmart at 2 a.m., buying essentials like laptops and sheets. His $70,000 total was the largest purchase in Walmart history—until his card was declined twice. American Express flagged the charge as fraud, prompting Shaq’s now-iconic response: “Because I’m Shaq.”

However, Shaq warned MrBeast it might not be possible. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Shaq tried to buy out a Walmart in Baton Rouge, but the store refused, offering no explanation. Walmart has policies in place to prevent massive disruptions, especially with restocking. Buying everything would mean customers couldn't buy what they need, and the store would have to deal with the logistics of emptying shelves and restocking. These logistical concerns make it nearly impossible to allow such large purchases without consequences.

Despite this, MrBeast is working on making it happen, potentially with a Walmart that’s shutting down. Whether or not he can pull it off remains to be seen, but if he does, it’ll be one of his biggest stunts yet.
