We wanted to see if AI's image generation could match how much cybercrime is out there... We’re not sure it did, but the answer is A LOT if you were wondering. 

Last year, there were 57,051 reported scams in Victoria alone. 

Of those ⬇️
💻More than $69 million reported in losses, with investment scams topping the list. 
💻Emails were the top contact methods of scammers closely followed by text messages then phone calls. 
💻Males made the most number of reports and lost the most amount of money. 
💻People aged 65 and over made the most number of reports.

So, what can you do to protect yourself online this #saferinternetday ⬇️
🔒Use strong unique passwords - or better yet - passphrases. 
🔒Enable multifactor authentication across all devices. 
🔒NEVER click on weird looking links. If you’ve received a text message claiming to be from a business/organisation, find their real number and call them to confirm.
