The world is growing 54% more crops than in 2000. 

A staggering figure, driven by intensified farming, better production techniques and more fertilizer use. 

But is it enough? We need to produce around 70% more food to feed an expected 9 billion people by 2050, according to the World Bank. 

All while contending with changing weather patterns and a growing appetite for organic food.
