We're celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week by shining a spotlight on one of our own incredible employees -- Janet Sandifer! 🌟 Her decision to be a Living Liver Donor for a stranger is a true testament to the power of kindness. 

"People often ask me, 'Why go through this for a stranger?' My answer is simple: I believe that with all the ugliness in the world—why not contribute something positive to the universe and alter the narrative? It's truly about scattering positivity, glitter, and sparkle into the world when it is most needed!"

After a six-hour surgery, a portion of Janet's healthy liver was removed and implanted into a recipient in Murray, Utah on October 30, 2024. The best part? The remaining portion of her liver and the recipient's implanted portion will regenerate to the full size of an adult liver over time! But Janet doesn't want to stop there. With only 100 double-living organ donors in the world, she would eagerly donate a kidney to another stranger who needs a life-saving transplant to become part of this small, yet courageous, group committed to giving the gift of life not once, but twice! 💖
