The Grassroots Trust has approved a $15,000 grant for horse ambulance services in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. 🙌✨

Three ambulances are based in the region at the Cambridge Jockey Club, in Matamata, and at the Fiber Fresh National Equestrian Centre in Taupō. 

The South Waikato area is a Thoroughbred racing and breeding hub in New Zealand. A harness racing track in Cambridge holds regular meetings during the season. An equine ambulance and experienced operator attend 90 race meetings and trials in this region alone. 

The support of Grassroots Trust is a welcome boost to our mission to care for the welfare and well-being of our equine athletes, and the Trust is so grateful for the support. 🤗
