In this tutorial, Aveda Artist Sarah Naslund guides you through the process of getting this festive hairstyle with Christmas right around the corner!

First off, apply Aveda Aveda Shampure Dry Shampoo to the hair around your scalp. Lift the hair gently to create texture and volume. Section the front from the back, then create low ponytail at the back of your neck. Bind it with an elastic band. Lift the hair at the crown to loosen it a little. Clip the front hair on each side and cross both sections over the ponytail. Lift the first ponytail and clip it out of the way. Secure the second ponytail with an elastic band. Pull the second ponytail through the hole just above the elastic band. Tighten the ends with a gentle pull. Backcomb the underside of the section with the wide teeth of the comb to create volume. Loosen the sides by lifting the hair. To finish up, apply Texture Tonic for added texture and separation.
