To achieve her sleek, straight look, Hiliana starts out with freshly-washed hair. While her hair is still slightly damp, she applies Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair to help repair and protect her strands against heat styling. Next, she applies Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener for 12-hour humidity defense and added shine. She uses a comb to evenly distribute the product from top to bottom and then allows her hair to dry completely before straightening. To straighten, she uses a flat iron set to 390° F, passing over each section of hair no more than twice to minimize damage. The end result is sleek, shiny and frizz-free hair that looks and feels healthy.
