The experts at Insect Lore provide helpful tips on how to successfully care for your own live butterfly garden so you can fully enjoy the magical transformation of your Cup of Caterpillars into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies.

The complete metamorphosis lasts three to five weeks, so you’ll want to plan ahead to avoid any prolonged interruptions such as school breaks or vacations. When your package arrives, open it right away. Live caterpillars will not survive long in a hot mailbox or warehouse. Follow along for more tips about the butterfly life cycle.
