Jen Brown shows how to prep your skin for makeup so that it goes on smoothly and lasts longer—in just 3 easy steps—along with why these steps count.

Her pro tips include a healthy cleanse with BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Micellar Cleansing Water, followed by hydrating the skin with products suggested in this video. Last, Jen primes her complexion with Revlon PhotoReady Prime Plus Perfecting + Smoothing Makeup Primer—a product endorsed by EWG.org, where she cross-checks the ingredient lists on products she uses and recommends.
