Promise me this: 3 kids later, I can tell you—they all get there in their own time. Focus on what feels right for your baby and your family. ❤️⁠

👶 Babies typically show signs they’re ready for solids between 4-6 months. Here’s what to look for:⁠
✅ Good head and neck control⁠
✅ Ability to sit upright with minimal support⁠
✅ Interest in food (like eyeing down your dinner 🍕👀)⁠
✅ Reaching for a spoon or opening their mouth when you offer food⁠

Some babies aren’t ready until closer to 6 months—and that’s totally fine. Follow their lead.⁠

As you near 9-12 months, you’ll see them starting to pinch foods, pick them up, and feed themselves more. Whether you’re doing purées 🥄, baby-led weaning, or a combo of both, do what works for you so mealtime isn’t stressful. 💡⁠

✨ Fast forward: By a year, they’re crushing all sorts of foods—different tastes, textures, and temperatures. Then before you know it, they’re climbing in and out of their own toddler tower and telling you exactly what they want (or don’t want 🙃).⁠

Remember this: It’s your job to serve the food. It’s their job to eat it. Let them have fun in the high chair, explore, and make a mess (because they will). 🎨⁠
