Today, the fda approved an updated COVID-19 vaccine produced by Moderna and Pfizer to better protect against the latest variants of the virus. Vaccines will begin arriving next week with first appointments available Sept. 6 at Walgreens pharmacies across the country. Appointments can be scheduled today.
