The South Pole isn’t just remote—it’s one of the hardest places on Earth to reach. So how do we get there? 

📍 Fewer people stand at the South Pole each year than summit Everest.

Getting there requires:
✈️ A direct flight from Cape Town to the heart of Antarctica, crossing 4,000 km of open ocean.
❄️ Trading the A340 for a Basler BT-67, built to handle -50°C temperatures.
⛽ A crucial refueling stop deep in the interior before the final push south.

Then, finally—stepping off the plane into a world of pure white. At 90° South, time zones blur, and every direction points north. There is nowhere further, no path beyond—just the profound stillness of standing at the very bottom of the Earth.
