VCS Cheer traveled to Orlando last week to compete at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship after qualifying in two events! We are so proud of these girls and everything they accomplished this season!
 
Said VCS Head Cheer Coach Lexi Martindale:
For more than 40 years, the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship has been the pinnacle of the season for cheerleaders across the country. Held at the most magical place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, this competition is more than just a chance to win a national title—it’s an opportunity to compete among the best teams in the nation and showcase months of dedication, celebrate the sport, all while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
 
As we step onto the mat at Nationals, we aren’t just performing a routine—we are telling a story. A story of early mornings, late nights, and countless hours of practice. A story of pushing through challenges, trusting each other, and growing as a team. Every motion, every jump, and every stunt represents the sacrifices made along the way. This team has given everything to be here, and their hard work and relentless spirit have truly set them apart.
 
Watching these athletes pour their hearts into every practice, every rep, and every performance has been nothing short of inspiring. They’ve already proven they are champions in every sense of the word. Regardless of the final results, this journey has been about more than trophies—it has been about resilience, passion, and the unbreakable bond that holds this team together.
