🚨WORLD RECORD IN BARCELONA🚨

Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo reclaims the men’s half marathon World Record at the 2025 Barcelona Half Marathon in 56:42.

Kiplimo’s time smashed the previous mark of 57:30 set by Ethiopia’s Yomif Kejelcha at the 2024 Valencia Half Marathon in October. 

Kiplimo had previously held the World Record in the event (57:31) from November 2021 - October 2024 before being surpassed by Kejelcha.
