This Presidents Day, we’re celebrating our role in protecting a key piece of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park in Texas! In 2023, we helped acquire and preserve the Alexander home, originally owned by President Johnson’s younger sister, safeguarding its place in the historic landscape of his boyhood neighborhood. Located across from his childhood home, this house will not only protect the history of our 36th president but also serve as much-needed housing for park staff.
