Avery Bassett secured bonus points in a 12-1 major decision to help lead lockhavenwrestling  to a 29-14 victory over Cleveland State on Thursday. At the Matt-Town Open II, Bassett won the championship at 174 pounds after going 4-0 with a tech fall and 2 major decisions.

The Bald Eagles extended their streak to 9 matches & improved to a perfect 6-0 in MAC duals. The win also helped Lock Haven move to 13-5 overall, which are the most in a season since LHU won 17 (17-4) duals during the 2001-02 season.
