Thumbprint cookies :) 👍

This dough DOES NOT have to chill, making it the easiest quickest cookie recipe. They’re so so good!! Trust me 😌

💫Ingredients:
•1 cup unsalted room temperature butter
•1/2 cup cane sugar
•1/4 cup brown sugar 
•2 egg yolks
•1/2 tsp vanilla extract
•1/4 tsp vanilla paste 
•2 2/3 cups all purpose flour 
•1/2 tsp sea salt 
•Chocolate drops or fruit jam

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter with the sugars using the paddle attachment at medium speed for 2-3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Then, add the vanilla extract and paste and mix until combined. In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then gradually add into the mixing bowl over low speed until a dough forms. 

Using a scoop, take a tablespoon of dough and roll into a small ball. Place over the tray with parchment paper and gently press down the center using the back of a spoon or your thumb to make an indentation. Bake for 10 minutes (these cookies will not look golden). If you’re adding chocolate, place the drops on the indentation immediately after removing from the oven and let them cool down over a wire rack. If adding jam, let them cool down first. Enjoy!
