Back in the late 90s, Emmanuelle and Robert started as classmates, but one small act of rebellion—sharing sweets in the library—sparked something more. Fast-forward to today: They’re married, have three children, and have lived in over ten countries across Asia and the Middle East.

“You weren’t allowed to eat in the library, and I thought, ‘If he refuses the sweets, he really is as square as he looks. But if he cracks, then I have a shot at it.’ He cracked and ate the Haribo.”
