As Black History Month closes & Women History Month begins.

I am very excited to announce the upcoming documentary called: “The Color of Resilience”. The Ija Monet Story. 

“An self-taught talented artist known for her vibrant and poignant creations. Uses her art as a means to connect with her community, to tell stories of resilience, love, and the rich tapestry of black culture.”

This poem highlights elements from the film and shows the tedious process of what it takes to not only be a professional artist but a woman color.
