For the fourth year in a row, the Oprah Winfrey Scholars Program and the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership partnered with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change to honor Dr. King’s legacy through a Day of Service.⁠

Morehouse students, faculty, corporate partners, and community members came together on campus to donate and organize resources for Atlanta’s Beloved Community. Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey and Social Justice Scholars served as hosts of the MLK Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church. From campus tours led by Morehouse College Admissions Ambassadors to DJ QueezyG’s soundtrack taking volunteers through the decades, the day was filled with service, fellowship, and purpose—just as Dr. King envisioned.⁠
