Meet Denver Film!

We have a few thousand new faces, so we thought we'd introduce you to who we are!

Since 1978, Denver Film has worked to bring the magic of storytelling and the power of community together. Our mission is to create entertaining and transformative experiences through the power of diverse voices in film.

Our home theater, the Sie FilmCenter, is the only nonprofit movie theater in Denver, where our programming is carefully curated to bring you the best indie films all year round. Whether as part of one of our spotlight festivals, curated film series, special retrospective, or art house titles, the films shown will often not be available by any other platform.

Other than our year-round programming, our team works hard to put on some of the coolest movie experiences in Denver, including Film on The Rocks at @redrocksco, Summer Scream at Lakeside, and our spotlight festivals at the Sie: Denver's only queer film festival, CinemaQ Film Fest; Denver's celebration of AAPI stories with Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival; the women-centric Women+Film Film Festival, the Denver Silent Film Festival; and the largest film festival in the region going 47 years strong: the Denver Film Festival! Join us next year, won't you?
