📢 BREAKING: Schools Ordered to End Race-Based Preferences by Feb. 28!

The U.S. Department of Education has issued a nationwide directive requiring all federally funded schools—K-12, colleges, and universities—to eliminate race-based preferences in admissions, hiring, scholarships, housing, and campus life by Feb. 28 or risk losing federal funding.

🔹 The letter, sent Feb. 14, claims DEI programs promote racial discrimination and cites the 2023 Supreme Court ruling against race-based college admissions.
🔹 Tennessee schools, including the University of Tennessee system and local districts, say they are reviewing the directive while waiting for further guidance.
