Represent Steel City in its fifth season.

There are two tryout dates – First Team (3/23) and Academy (3/30). 

The Academy team is a U23 team designed for players preparing to play or play in their early collegiate years (or similar level).

Women’s tryouts will be announced shortly.

 Key Characteristics
 
 🎯League play First team – The Midwest Premier League which has over 45 teams in seven states and Is generally considered amongst the country's most competitive regional leagues. It has promotion/relegation. 

🎯League play Academy team – The Greater Chicagoland Soccer League U23 Division. Steel City was league champion in 2022.

🎯Single-elimination tournament play (First team) in the national amateur cup and Illinois state cup.
 
 🎯A competitive club environment that has seen four players sign professional contracts in the past four seasons.
 
 🎯Personalized approaches to player development, including communication with college coaches and load management through July, if necessary.
 
 🎯High character teammates that value the collective over themselves. Steel City has a high player retention rate.
 
 🎯Entertain the community. Few minor league soccer teams in the country have the community’s engagement and attention like Steel City.
 
 🎯Career counseling and job placement assistance from white-collar executives that run the club.
