The logistical planning in Antarctica is as mind-blowing as it is meticulous.

One crucial branch of this operation is getting fuel, vehicles, and cargo to the ice shelf. These supplies are loaded onto the SA Agulhas II two months before the season begins. Upon arrival in Antarctica, everything is offloaded over a 30-meter ice shelf. From there, the supplies slowly make their way to Wolf's Fang Runway via PistenBully and our dedicated traverse crew, ready for use in the upcoming season.

While the logistics can sometimes be slightly hair-raising—to be honest, we love it!
