I’ve spent the last 16 years hating my body

All those years in a body I hated and knew I didn’t belong in

All those years being uncomfortable, not being able to wear clothes I wanted, not being able to do the things I wanted to because of my size

Constantly looking in the mirror trying to envision what it would be like to finally be skinny

Now that I lost the weight, I constantly look in the mirror and wonder what it will look like when the loose skin is finally gone

Yet the next day I look in that same mirror and all I see is the 350lb woman I once was, staring back at me

It never ends
