This hidden gem in Ybor City never misses. 

If you’re looking for a place that oozes passion in every detail, La Setima is it. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the love the owners have poured into this spot. It’s a natural wine bar with an exceptional plant-based snack menu that’s as creative as it is delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying their 5-course Valentine’s Day dinner, and let me tell you—I could eat their Seitan Steak every single day for the rest of my life. It’s that good.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making every visit feel special. They even have a fantastic selection of non-alcoholic wines—my pre-Valentine’s Day NA wine was superb.

The decor is stunning, the vibes are spot-on, and honestly, I’m just so grateful La Setima is part of the Tampa scene.

Favorite things I’ve had here: 

Boudin Egg Rolls: “sausage”, dirty rice, trinity, house remoulade 

Nash Buff: battered and fried lionś mane mushrooms, nashville buffalo sauce, house pickles remoulade on lil burger buns

The Dirt: peanut butter and chocolate mousse, chocolate syrup and oreo crumbles

Oh, and they’ve just launched a monthly bottle club! Two exclusive wine selections each month, handpicked by their team of passionate wine geeks.

Mark your calendars: they’re hosting a scent bar and candle pour event with thespacein_betweenco on March 9. Plus, they’re a go-to spot for local musicians, and they host heyday_tpa.

This place has it all—and it perfectly complements my love for exploring this city. If you’re looking for a #datenight spot or want to impress friends with a unique recommendation, La Setima is a must.

It’s like the perfect trifecta with flanfactory and retrohousetampa nearby. Plus it’s walking distance to coastalfilmlab and everyone needs to visit that gem.
