## Caption

Aidan Fromm, a Hastings senior and longtime Windham Mountain club racer who captured the prestigious Section 1 boys skimeister title earlier this month for lowest combined time of two GS and two slalom runs at the sectional championships, completed his first run Monday, Feb. 24, in 59.79 seconds, then cut that to 56.5 on his second run.

After his first-place showing at sections in the GS and sixth-place showing in slalom (which came with him losing time by having to hike uphill to a gate he'd missed), he'd said he hoped to win both GS and slalom at states.
