“On bid day, Mia and I were put in a picture together and neither of us knew each other. A year later, Mia is not only a sister, but also one of my best friends. Mia’s smile lights up a room, and her presence alone makes you feel comfortable and happy. Throughout our friendship, Mia has made me feel seen, loved, and so beautiful. Last year, we lived one floor apart in the same dorm and would always sprint to each others rooms the second we had something to tell each other. We couldn’t wait to finally be living in Kappa together. If I’m sad, happy, or just bored and I text her, she’s up in my room within 30 seconds. We’re together at least a few hours a day and if not, something doesn’t feel right. Together, we’ve screamed, cried, laughed, and probably have woken up many neighbors in the process. To have a friend like Mia is so special and I can’t wait to have her in my life for many years to come. Mia, thank you for being such a constant in my life. I’m proud to call you my best friend.”

“To be honest I can’t even remember when Hope and I became so close, but I believe those are the best kinds of friendships. Anyone who knows Hope knows she lights up every room she walks into, and no matter how many times I tell her that she seems to never believe me. Becoming friends with Hope has been one of the best things to come out of Kappa and I truly believe she is a friend I will have forever. For the past 2 years, Hope and I have lived just one floor apart and I will forever cherish the memories we have made, like being able to walk to eachothers rooms to talk about anything and everything. She’s a friend that I can tell the same story over and over again to, and she would still listen to every bit of it no matter how many times she’s heard me talk about it.
