The Sussex County Miners are thrilled to welcome Gionti Turner to the team! ⚾️🔥

A versatile infielder/outfielder, Gionti brings with him a wealth of experience from the Cleveland Guardians organization, including time spent at AAA. At 24 years old, the Pine Bluff, Arkansas native has already showcased his skills at multiple positions—making him a key asset for the Miners’ lineup this season.

“We’re excited to add Gionti to our roster,” said Assistant Coach and Director of Player Procurement Simon Walters. “He’s incredibly athletic, and coaches from both the Guardians and Rays rave about his talent and character. We can’t wait to see him play everyday!”
