Middle School Spanish teacher Jenny Austen Urbain ‘95 experienced a full-circle moment yesterday, when Upper School Spanish teacher Bob Patten visited her Spanish 1 class. Señor Patten, who began his 30+ year career at Charlotte Latin School in 1991, taught Urbain twice when she was a student at CLS. Now the student has become the teacher: ”It brought a few tears to my eyes and it made me so happy that he was a part of my learning,” said Urbain, “He was one of the reasons I love learning languages!”
