Michelle Trachtenberg has died at the age 39. She was found unconscious in her Midtown Westside apartment in NYC. Authorities have no suspicions surrounding her death. She had recently undergone a liver transplant. Medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine exact cause and matter of death.

Trachtenberg began her career as a child star,
appearing in Nickelodeon projects such
as the television series The Adventures of
Pete & Pete and the film Harriet the Spy.
She gained widespread recognition for
her role as Dawn, Sarah Michelle Gellar’s
sister, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She
also became a fan-favorite on Gossip Girl,
portraying the iconic character Georgina
Sparks. In addition, Trachtenberg starred
in the beloved 2005 Disney Channel
Original Movie /ce Princess.
