Will Plunkett and Brandon Burrell sent Mount Vernon packing with shot after shot after shot after shot from behind the arc. The duo was a constant source of anguish for a program with a reputation for delivering timely stops and propelled Mamaroneck to a win on Friday, Feb. 28 in a Section 1 Class AAA quarterfinal.

The Tigers are heading back to the County Center. Mamaroneck (17-4) fell by a bucket to New Rochelle a year ago in the semifinals.
