Seller’s Market continues!🔥Even though May Real Estate Market has slowed down with 3071 sales, it is still 3% more than last year.  Here are key takeaways👇

🏡 Detached Home Benchmark Price is $648,500. 14.5% increase 📈 from May 2021.
"Higher lending rates, steep price gains, and exceptionally tight conditions contribute to pullback in detached sales this month. Conditions continue to favor sellers. Districts with the highest price gain are South East and North East with over 20% increase. 

🏫Condo Benchmark Prices is $275,300. 8.9% increase 📈from May 2021
“While this segment of the market has been more sensitive to supply shifts, conditions still remain relatively tight supporting further price gains… Prices trended up in every district helping support price recovery.” 

🔹"Higher Interests rates affect the sales activity, the Calgary Housing market is still struggling with supply levels and rising prices which could also be contributing to slower sales, especially in the detached market… if this shift continues, we could begin to see more balanced conditions in the market over the next several months, slowing the pace of price growth in the market.” 

🔹The market growth pace has slowed down compared to the previous four months.
