Theta Thursday with the best, sammaaher 🌟

Sam is our New Member Director this year! She is a Sophomore from Massachusetts, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in engineering management. Outside of Theta, Sam is involved in the Society of Women Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and serves as a Campus Manger for Fresh Prints! She enjoys spending time spinning, traveling, trying new foods, going on walks and hanging out with friends & family.

Here’s what Theta means to Sam: 
“When I stepped into Theta on the first day of recruitment, I was immediately met with an overwhelming sense of love, support, and authenticity from the girls around me. Any nervous feelings quickly faded each time I entered Theta’s uplifting atmosphere. Since then, Theta has given me an incredible sense of belonging and support here at UConn. The friendships I found here have become such an important part of my life, and I’m beyond grateful to have found these irreplaceable connections through Theta. I feel so lucky to call Theta my home, and I can’t wait to create even more memories with the amazing girls I’ve met.”
