This week’s #MoodySpotlight is on Campbell Williams, #TEXASMoody’s very own digital storytelling intern!

Campbell chose to study Radio-Television-Film because she loves telling stories in different ways. “I knew it would give me a strong storytelling and production techniques foundation. No matter where I end up—whether it’s advertising, social media or something else—I wanted skills that could translate across different creative fields.”

And she’s done just that! As a digital storytelling intern at Moody College, Campbell has expanded her portfolio beyond film, diving into design, writing and more. “My time as a digital storytelling intern at Moody has been huge for my growth as a storyteller and creator. I’ve learned from and connected with so many people across the college.”

Last summer, she took her talents to NBC News Local in LA, working on the Universal Studios lot! “I got to meet some amazing athletes and create a lot of fun videos promoting the Olympics and covering current news. It was such an incredible experience.”

On campus, Campbell found her love for photography through Hook’d Magazine—an org she’s been part of since sophomore year. “Joining that org has been one of the best decisions of my college career. It introduced me to photography and has helped me become a leader.”

One of her favorite Moody memories has to be shooting on film for the first time in Deb Lewis’ cinematography class. “My group had a lot of fun filming around campus. We even caught Bevo on film! It was such a fun experience.” cinemalaboratory

“The education I’ve gotten at Moody has been truly invaluable. I’m graduating with a much stronger sense of my strengths as a creator, a well-rounded understanding of media systems and history, and experience in so many different areas of media. The professors here genuinely care, and because of that, I feel confident that what I’ve learned will make me a better professional.”

The #TEXASMoody MarCom team is so proud of your journey and growth, Campbell—we can’t wait to see what you do next! 🤘🧡
