Thurgood Marshall College aka Marshall College was founded in 1970 and is the third of the seven colleges to be established.

Their core academic offerings prepare students to develop a deep analysis of the diversity of lived experiences in the United States; the institutions and movements through which justice has been advanced; and the culture—music, art, literature, and science—through which people represent and comprehend U.S. society and the world.

Join in on the fun with Marshall College's traditions like Marshallpalooza: a free student-planned staff-directed carnival, Cultural Celebration, a unique cultural diversity celebration of the Marshall College community experienced through food, dance, music, and art from around the world! And Scholar & Citizen Award Ceremony, which is planned by the Marshall College Provost’s Office in late May, this event recognizes outstanding junior- and senior-level students who have thrived academically and in their co-curricular activities at Marshall College.
