Well, we made it to the end of our College Series posts! And last but certainly not least is Seventh College! Seventh College (@seventhcollegeucsd) was established in 2019 and is the seventh of the seven colleges.

Seventh College’s theme, “A Changing Planet”, encompasses a broad range of pressing global issues including the climate crisis, mass migration, and rapid cultural and technological change. The academic mission of Seventh College is to enrich students’ college experience by empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to approach large-scale, global issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, and by creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive community where students feel at home.

Some of the Seventh College's traditions include participating in Orientation, Convocation, Commencement, and Welcome Week Festivities.

If you're looking for ways to get involved with Seventh College, consider becoming an Orientation Leader. Each year, Seventh College recruits current students to serve in leadership positions for New Student Orientation. Orientation Interns and Leaders are the first point of contact for incoming students during their transition to UC San Diego and Seventh College, and help provide an informative and welcoming space for both students and their families.
