In a post on X, #MelanieKing wrote that Lively was “terrified to walk the carpet” and Kendrick “never wants to work with [Lively] again.”

“Um… you’re wrong,” Feig replied.

It’s unclear why King sparked the rumor in the first place, though Lively’s bitter public feud with “#ItEndsWithUs” might have given her some ideas. Kenrick and Lively are both at the film festival to promote “#AnotherSimpleFavor” after previously collaborating with Feig on “A Simple Favor.”
