📢 Priscilla Presley Honored with Tennessee’s Highest Civilian Award! 🎖️🎶

Priscilla Presley has been recognized with the Colonel Aide de Camp award—Tennessee’s highest civilian honor—for her decades of dedication to Memphis music tourism and preserving the legacy of Elvis Presley. 🙌🏾

Governor Bill Lee presented the award on Monday, and Shelby County lawmakers honored her in the Tennessee General Assembly. Presley used the moment to push for state funding to relocate the Smithsonian Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum from FedEx Forum to Beale Street, a move that could further cement Memphis’ place as a global music destination.

🗣️ “It’s been my joy to promote Elvis and Memphis music across the globe for the past 50 years,” Presley said.

Senate Democratic Caucus Chair London Lamar praised her impact, noting how she helped save Graceland and turn it into a thriving attraction for the city. Fun fact—Elvis himself received the same honor back in 1961! 👑🎶

Memphis wouldn’t be the same without Elvis, Graceland, and the rich music history Priscilla continues to champion.
