Global box office, meanwhile, reached an estimated $30B. 

A big boost came in December with the likes of Disney’s #Moana2 and #Mufasa: The Lion King,’ Universal’s #Wicked and Paramount’s #Sonic3. 

December 2024 was exceeded only by July 2023 and the Barbenheimer of it all, as well as July 2024 which had #DeadpoolAndWolverine strutting around the globe.
