As 2024 draws to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect on the generosity and resilience of the UC Berkeley community. Here are some of the highlights of our year in philanthropic storytelling:

🌟 A gift from Nadine Tang M.S.W. ’75 that honors the legacy of Chancellor Emerita Carol T. Christ and creates the Carol T. Christ Center for Connected Learning at Moffitt Library
🌟 An anonymous $23 million gift that will fully endow and transform @calmensgolf and @calwgolf, providing them with a new, world-class training facility
🌟 A new gift from Jon Stryker M. Arch. ’89, which sustains and deepens the impact of the @ced_berkeley's Arcus Social Justice program, allowing fellows to receive full tuition coverage
🌟 A generous gift from Margaret and Matt ’79 Jacobson in honor of the late Paul Alpers, which strengthens fellowship and writing programs associated with @townsendcenter

This is just a small sample of the philanthropic commitments made in 2024 that keep @ucberkeleyofficial strong and vital. As we look to the future, we reflect with deep gratitude for our robust and thriving community of scholars, makers, and doers.
