Released 15 years ago this week, ludacris’ 8th studio album ‘Battle of the Sexes’ made a statement by highlighting both the male and female perspectives. ♂️ ♀️ “I set out during this ‘Battle of the Sexes’ album to be like, we need more women voices in hip-hop, and that’s exactly what I did,” the rapper said in an interview with GQ. And he’s not wrong - the album featured guest vocals from Eve, Lil’ Kim, Trina, Shawna, Ciara, Monica, Ester Dean, and the reigning queen of hip-hop, Nicki Minaj.
