The 2025/26 Budget Debate is officially underway as Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Hon. Fayval Williams, arrives at Gordon House to present the $1.26-trillion national budget. In her presentation, she will outline how the Government plans to fund the new fiscal year’s expenditures.

Over the next two weeks, key members of both the Government and Opposition will weigh in on the budget, with Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Julian Robinson, speaking on March 13, Opposition Leader Mark Golding on March 18, and Prime Minister Andrew Holness on March 20. The debate will conclude on March 25, when Minister Williams delivers her closing statement.
