When I was first diagnosed, I felt so overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice, so I wanted to share what’s actually helped me—hopefully, it saves you some time and stress!

✨ Supplements: Myo & D-Chiro Inositol has been a game changer for me (I use _bondlife and love it). I also take NAC and Berberine, which help with inflammation, hormone balance, and overall metabolic health. I can make a separate video diving deeper into supplements!

🩺 Testing is key: Getting a full hormone and metabolic panel was a turning point for me. I was prescribed Metformin at first, but blood work showed I didn’t actually need it. Testing helps you support your body in the right way instead of guessing. I go to asktia and Ana’s love it, and allarahealth is a great online option too!

🥩 More protein, less stress about food: I personally don’t do strict gluten/dairy-free because PCOS isn’t one-size-fits-all. What’s helped most is focusing on anti-inflammatory foods and balancing blood sugar rather than stressing over restrictions. I still don’t do this perfectly, but hey no one does.

🏋🏼‍♀️ Movement: Strength training, running, walking and pilates have helped me so much. But really any exercise that you look forward to is the best one! I also swear by icing my face and facial massage for inflammation (anyone else get “moon face” with flare-ups?)

😌 Managing stress & rest: This was huge for me. Actually prioritizing rest made a massive difference in my symptoms. I get the most inflamed and symptomatic when I’m sleep deprived and stressed.

🤍 PCOS & fertility: If you’re worried about this, I get it—I was too. But PCOS doesn’t automatically mean infertility. It just means your hormones might need extra support, but they may not!

That said, I still have tough days and have to manage my symptoms, but it’s no longer something that controls my life. PCOS is a process, but once you figure out what works for you, it gets so much easier. 💛

Let me know if you ever want to talk about any of these more—I know how much it helps to not feel alone in it!
