Come with me to my first rodeo in Houston, TX 🤠 🐎 ✨

rodeohouston is the world’s largest livestock exhibition and rodeo, drawing over 2 million attendees annually to NRG Park in Houston. 

✅ First Rodeo in the books and here are my tips! 
 
✨ Plan ahead: Create a plan for what you want to see and do, and when. Download the app for a map and daily activities and events. I rode the Sky Ride to get an aerial view of the grounds and plan where I wanted to head next! Pre-purchase tickets for the carnival rides to avoid lines. Most food vendors and shops accepted card payment. 

✨Visit on a weekday: Weekdays are less crowded than weekends. 

✨ Dress up: Wear cowboy boots, a hat, and a statement earring and jacket OR shop the amazing vendors for your boots and cowboy hat once you’re there! 

✨ Ride share: I took an uber black car to and from the event that dropped me off at the Yellow Lot, it was worth the extra few dollars to have a car readily available when I was ready to leave. 

✨ Attend a concert: There’s a live concert every night, artist include rileyduckman bradpaisley postmalone and more! I hosted a work event in the suites and it’s a great evening out!
