This Women’s History Month, we’re shining the spotlight on the incredible women behind Plays-in-the-Park—starting with our Producing Artistic Director, Margaret “Moggie” Davis! 🎭💜

Moggie has been part of the PIP family since 1984, first stepping onto our stage as Grace Farrell in ‘Annie’. Since then, she’s been a performer, director, producer, and now, as Artistic Director, she’s at the helm of the magic that brings our summer shows to life!

This season, she returns to the director’s chair for ‘Beautiful: The Carole King Musical’—a show that’s especially close to her heart.

🎶 “Carole King is MY GIRL!!! I grew up with her music, and it left an indelible mark on my life. I can’t wait to bring her story to life on our stage.”

With a passion for storytelling and a career spanning decades, Moggie has directed some of our most beloved productions, including ‘Something Rotten!’, ‘Mamma Mia!’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, and ‘Newsie’s’. She’s also a founding member of the Forum Theatre in Metuchen and has spent years advocating for the arts across NJ.

Join us this summer as she brings Carole King’s legendary journey to the stage in ‘Beautiful: The Carole King Musical’!
