Tina Hopping’s journey at CAMPUS USA CU is a true full-circle story, blending family ties with a deep commitment to the company’s culture. Starting as a Teller at the 34th Street Remote Drive-up, Tina now serves as our HR Operations Supervisor, but her connection to CAMPUS goes way back—long before she began her career here.

Her mom worked at CAMPUS while pregnant with Tina, meaning she’s been a part of the CAMPUS family literally her entire life. As a child, Tina would tag along with her mom during overnight month-end shifts, turning those long hours into sleepovers with a sleeping bag and her favorite snacks. These early memories set the stage for Tina’s lifelong bond with the company.

After starting as a teller at the 34th Street Service Center, Tina has grown into a dedicated HR Operations Supervisor, and she’s grateful for the chance to work in a place that prioritizes a strong culture and work-life balance—a blessing she’s always appreciated for her family.

Tina’s favorite part of her role is working with employees and ensuring they have everything they need to thrive, contributing to a positive work experience. Some of her fondest memories come from the years spent with a small, close-knit HR team, where trust, respect, and laughter helped create a productive and supportive environment. Tina has made lifelong friendships, including with her mentor and dear friend, Simone Harbert, who recently retired after 14 years together.
