🎤 Take me out to a ball game, I mean, coffee shop! 

⚾️ With the MLB All-Star Game this week, it seemed like a fun opportunity to create a coffee drink that captures classic baseball snack, the @crackerjackofficial_! This Cracker Jack Latte was an interesting development, because salty is not always something we see in the coffee world. 

🍿 I made a popcorn syrup made with buttered popcorn and demerara sugar, which is definitely the star of the show, and I actually really enjoy how this drink turned out.

To make the popcorn syrup, take about 1 cup of popped buttered popcorn and cover with water (the popcorn will shrink). Soak in the fridge for 6 hours, strain, and use the popcorn water with equal amount of Demerara sugar, boil, and reduce to a syrup texture. Cool and refrigerate for later use.

Cracker Jack Latte:

Double shot Espresso
1 oz Popcorn Syrup
6-8 oz Milk of your choice
Crushed peanut 
Ice

Dip your glass in water, then in the crushed peanuts, add ice into the glass, pour in all ingredients, stir, and enjoy!
